Independent anglers love the flexibility that our riverside apartments in Mora d’Ebre offer. Bring your own tackle or hire ours. Fish from the bank right outside your accommodation on 200 yards of easily accessible bank. Try other prime fishing spots up-river at Flix (20 mins drive) Riba-Roja (30mins) Mequinenza (1 hour) or downriver towards Xerta and Tortosa (30 mins). If you wish you can book a day or two catfishing by boat with a local guide. It’s your holiday – it’s entirely up to you! Our guest records for 2009 were: 108lb catfish caught by a 14yr old from the bank right outside the apartments. 160lb catfish caught from a boat on the Mora stretch of river 151lb catfish caught from a boat at Mequinenza. several carp to 27lbs at Flix and Mora.
